The Shape of Stories started off as a doodle session while I was putting together a pitch deck. It quickly evolved into a technique I rely on to bring stories to life. I look for inspiration in movies, fairytales, stand up comedy, TED talks and public speaking. The basic structure of stories unravels by layering the flow of events, on an X (time) and Y (success) axis. Challenges introduced along the way, affect the outcome of the narrative.
